Manipur incident: Central Government will handover Manipur Viral Video case to CBI
Manipur Viral Video Case: The event in which Idduru women were exposed in Manipur has received serious attention from the federal government. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) will conduct an investigation using the video that the Union Home Department has decided to turn over.
Apart from this, the Center will also file an affidavit in the Supreme Court. The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced that those responsible for this inhumane incident will not be spared. This incident took place in May this year, and the video related to it recently came out and went viral on social media.

One of the women seen in the video is the wife of an ex-armyman.. She served as a subedar in the Assam regiment and also fought in the Kargil war. The police registered a case against four persons in connection with this incident and arrested them.
Recently, the opposition has raised agitations in the Parliament that Prime Minister Modi should respond to this incident. In this order, the Center has taken this decision.
