Tata Motors launched the first CNG automatic cars

Domestic giant Tata Motors has launched its first CNG automatic cars. Tata has introduced Tiago and Tigor ICNG models in the market with automatic gearbox. Tiago CNG Automatic is priced at Rs. 7.90 lakh to Rs. 8.80 lakh, the Tigor ICNG is available in two variants and is priced between Rs. 8.85 lakh to Rs. 9.55 lakhs, the company said. Consumers who intend to buy these cars will pay Rs. 21,000 paid booking can be done. 

Apart from the automatic gearbox, no changes have been made in these cars. These cars come with a 1.2 liter 3 cylinder naturally aspirated engine. These CNG automatic variants give a mileage of 28.06 kmpl. Also, these cars will be available in new colors. Tata Tiago is available in Tornado Blue, Grassland Beige and Meteor Bronze colors. Amit Kamat, Chief Commercial Officer, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited said that Tata CNG vehicles have many features like twin cylinder technology, high end features and CNG direct start. 

He said that Tata Motors company is ready to bring significant changes in this segment. He claimed that 1.30 lakh CNG vehicles have been sold domestically in the last two years.
