Samsung introduced the 2024 Galaxy A series. The new Galaxy A55 and A35 models are the brand’s most beautifully designed and premium-feeling mid-range phones yet.

What does the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G offer?
The Samsung Galaxy A55 boasts a metal body, a potent new processor, and several camera functions found in phones in the premium Galaxy S series. For the Galaxy A55, Samsung chose a glass and metal body. Its front and back are covered with glass, making it the first phone in the Galaxy A series with a metal frame. There are still IP67 dust and water resistant ratings available. The 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display on the Galaxy A55 features FHD Plus resolution, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a brightness of 1000 nits (which rises even more in HDR scenarios). The screen has a Vision Booster function and is shielded by Gorilla Glass Victus. The phone sports an under-screen optical fingerprint reader for biometric security and a dual speaker.
Samsung’s Exynos 1480 processor, which is manufactured using a 4nm process, powers the Galaxy A55. The phone has 128GB or 256GB of storage and 8GB or 12GB of RAM. It is worth noting that this is the first model in the Galaxy A series to include 12GB of RAM. Support for microSD cards is available for users that require more storage capacity. Samsung is offering five years of security updates and four major Android operating system updates for the phone that ships with OneUI 6.1, which is based on Android 14. In addition to the new security function Auto Blocker, which prevents the installation of software from unauthorized sources, Samsung Knox also includes Samsung Knox Vault.
The Galaxy A55 has an upgraded camera. A 50MP primary camera with OIS and autofocus, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP macro camera make up the triple camera configuration on the rear. On the front is a 32MP selfie camera. With VDIS (EIS for video stabilization), the 50MP and 13MP cameras can capture 4K 30 frames per second footage. For the first time, a Galaxy A series phone boasts better low-light photos thanks to the sophisticated AI ISP in the Exynos 1480 processor. There is a Night Portrait mode on the Galaxy A55. Additionally, for a greater dynamic range and richer color reproduction, it is the first Galaxy A phone to offer 12-bit Super HDR video.

What does Samsung Galaxy A35 5G offer?
The Samsung Galaxy A35 is a new mid-range smartphone featuring a contemporary look and enhanced photographic capabilities. With a brighter 120Hz OLED screen and a speedier processor, this phone is the first mid-range device to include One UI 6.1 software.
The Galaxy A35 still employs a plastic frame even though its design looks more contemporary. Glass covers the back of the screen, while Gorilla Glass Victus+ protects the screen. Its design elevates the area of the frame next to the volume and power keys. It’s known as “Key Island” by Samsung.
