US H1B Visa: Good news for Indian tech professionals
US H1B Visa: The news from Canada is encouraging for Americans with H-1B visas. It was just announced that people with H-1B visas can now work in Canada as well. To entice highly skilled workers, the USH started giving H-1 visa holders open work licences. 75% of Indians who are now in the US on H-1B visas will gain from this.
The Canadian government will receive 10,000 applications through this new programme. Owners of this visa are permitted to work in Canada for a maximum of three years. These visa holders’ families are permitted to enter the country and work or study.
A temporary residency permit, work permit, or study permit can be obtained for this. Up until today, H-1B visa holders needed a speciality occupation visa to work in the US.
It is well known that by July 16, 2023, holders of H1B visas and the members of their families will be able to apply to enter Canada. This announcement was made by the Canadian government earlier this month. Every year, tech businesses hire tens of thousands of people from nations like China and India.
