Gummadi Vithal Rao, a Dalit author better known by his stage name Gaddar, was a well-known revolutionary poet. People’s War Ship Gaddar, whose songs were instrumental in the Telangana agitation, has passed away. Gaddar passed away today while receiving treatment at Apollo Hospital. As a representative of the Ghadar Party, which resisted British authority prior to independence, he was given the moniker Ghadar.

The death of public vocalist and battleship Gaddar has shocked Telugu residents of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and notable individuals across the nation. The family members revealed that he had a successful cardiac operation less than two days prior. This morning, the doctors treated the patients after the blood pressure soared and the sugar levels unexpectedly decreased. Gaddar’s organs were damaged, according to the family, and he passed away in the afternoon.

Gummadi Vithal Rao alias Gaddar, 77, passed away today at 3:00 PM at Apollo Spectra Hospital in Ameerpet as a result of lung and urinary issues as well as advanced age, according to an official announcement from Apollo doctors.

Due to severe heart condition, he was brought to the hospital on July 20, 2023. He underwent bypass surgery in 2023, according to his doctors, and made a full recovery. After the procedure, the doctors said he had healed. However, he had already experienced lung and urinary-related issues, which combined with his advanced age caused him to pass away.
